About the role
Must be licensed in the State of Indiana in the area of mild intervention or in a program to pursue licensure.
Responsibilities
- Provide instruction to students with mild to moderate disabilities
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with other special education staff and general education teachers
- Evaluate student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
Requirements
- Indiana teaching license in mild intervention or in a program to pursue licensure
- Experience working with students with mild to moderate disabilities
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Qualifications
- Master's degree in special education or related field
- Knowledge of state educational standards and best practices
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet diverse student needs
- Proficiency in using technology for instructional purposes
