About the role
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate educator to join our team in a K-12 alternative certification program. This role is designed for individuals who are committed to making a difference in the lives of students through innovative teaching methods and supportive learning environments.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement lesson plans that meet the needs of diverse learners.
- Assess student progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly.
- Collaborate with other educators, administrators, and parents to support student success.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field (required).
- Valid Michigan teaching certificate or eligibility for alternative certification (required).
- Experience working with K-12 students in a classroom or similar setting (preferred).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to ongoing professional growth and development.
