About the role
The successful candidate will lead a team of educators in providing a high-quality education to students in grades K-5. Responsibilities include developing and implementing educational programs, managing school operations, and fostering a positive learning environment.
Responsibilities
- Developing and implementing educational programs aligned with district goals
- Managing school operations including budgeting, scheduling, and facilities management
- Fostering a positive learning environment through effective communication and collaboration
- Mentoring and supporting teachers and staff
- Collaborating with parents and community members to enhance student success
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in education or related field
- Michigan teaching certification
- At least 3 years of experience as an elementary principal or assistant principal
- Strong leadership skills and ability to inspire and motivate staff
- Experience with data-driven decision making and continuous improvement
Qualifications
- Experience with technology integration in the classroom
- Knowledge of current educational trends and best practices
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple tasks

Pay
