Elementary - Kindergarten - Extended Substitute

About the role

Extended Substitute Elementary Teacher position for Kindergarten at Shrewsbury Elementary School, filled through Substitute Teacher Service, Inc. (STS). The assignment is anticipated to begin October 13, 2026 and run through approximately mid‑December 2026. You will be an employee of STS. The Southern York County School District is a high‑performing district serving approximately 2,900 students K‑12 in south‑central Pennsylvania, located just off Interstate 83 between Harrisburg and Baltimore, and recognized for award‑winning programs in academics, the arts, sports, and extracurricular activities.

Requirements

• Pennsylvania teaching certificate in Grades PK‑4 or Elementary K‑6.

Qualifications

• Focus on creating a caring, innovative environment.
• Ability to foster collaboration, communication, creativity, critical thinking, and social‑emotional learning among students and staff.

Pay

Daily rate of $294.00, expected for 40+ days of service.
