Elementary ESE Assistant Teacher

Full-time, contract position based in Plant City, FL (in-person). Ability to commute is required.

Responsibilities

• Help ESE and struggling students with assignments and in-school one-on-one sessions
• Provide parent communications
• Play games with students
• Assist with IEPs and 504 Plans
• Create an atmosphere for learning, fun, and meet all student accommodations
• Offer assistance in the main office and classrooms as needed

Hours are 7:20 a.m. – 3:30 p.m., Monday–Friday, with some extended and evening hours for events. Travel may be included for paid training.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (required)
• Pass a Level 2 background check
• Professional and Christian values
• Experience working with ESE students
• Teaching experience
• Communication skills: 1 year (required)
• Customer service: 3 years (required)
• Teaching assisting: 3 years (preferred)
