Elementary Education Teacher - Instrumental Music (LTS .08 FTE)
0.8 FTE (Long-Term Substitute for the entire school year), 64 minutes per day. Anticipated employment dates: beginning of the 2026-27 school year until the end of the school year.
About the Role
Teach the curriculum of Independent School District 196. Carry out responsibilities as defined by the master contract and the principal. Maintain good communication and cooperation with staff and parents.
Responsibilities
- Teach K-12 instrumental music curriculum.
- Fulfill duties as outlined in the master contract.
- Follow directives and expectations set by the building principal.
- Maintain positive communication and collaboration with staff and parents.
Requirements
- Licensed by the state of Minnesota to teach K-12 instrumental music.
- Strong general academic background.
- Ability to relate positively to students, staff, and community.
- Demonstrated experience and proficiency working with a culturally, ethnically, racially, and socioeconomically diverse school community (preferred).
