Requirements

• Valid Louisiana Teaching Certificate in Elementary Education (Grades 1–5 or appropriate grade band) per Louisiana Department of Education Bulletin 746.
• Bachelor’s degree (minimum) in Elementary Education or a related field.
• Two or more years of teaching experience is frequently preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement Louisiana Student Standards for grades 1–4 in English Language Arts, mathematics, science, and social studies.
• Deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate instruction.
• Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs.
• Use data-driven strategies to improve student achievement.
