Elementary Art Teacher- Long Term Substitute

Salary Range: Per the Educator Agreement

Schedule: Approximately Sept 10, 2026 through November 24, 2026 (start date includes two days to shadow/co-teach with the current teacher before they take leave). 1.0 FTE, Monday-Friday.

About the role

Performs professional work providing a broad range of teaching services or a specific learning program, assisting students to develop skills, attitudes, and knowledge needed as a foundation for future learning in accordance with each student's ability. Uses a variety of teaching and learning methods at various levels for an elementary (K-5) audience. Work is performed under the limited supervision of the Principal. Occasional oversight is exercised over Paraprofessionals or Volunteers.

Requirements

• MN Teaching License in K-6 or 1-6 Elementary Education
• Minnesota Teaching License
