Electrophysiology - Physician - Colorado Springs, Colorado
About the role
The ideal candidate will be a board-eligible/board-certified Electrophysiologist who is a team player with strong communication skills and focused on excellent patient care. This position is open for a minimum of 3 days and will remain open until a top candidate is identified. The position posting date is 7/8/2026.
Responsibilities
- Work alongside cardiac surgeons, anesthesiologists, and sonographers
- Utilize EPIC EMR system-wide
- Participate in the latest evidence-based technologies and procedures including complex ablations, lead extractions, and left atrial appendage closures
Requirements
UCHealth Medical Group and the Heart and Vascular team in Colorado Springs are seeking a board-eligible/board-certified Electrophysiologist. The ideal candidate should have:
- A strong background in electrophysiology
- Experience with complex ablations, lead extractions, and left atrial appendage closures
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Qualifications
The successful candidate will have:
- A current, unrestricted license to practice medicine in the state of Colorado
- Able to obtain a DEA number
- Completion of an ACGME-accredited fellowship program in Cardiac Electrophysiology
Skills

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment
- Knowledge of current medical practices and technologies
Benefits
This position offers a competitive compensation package, including a pay range of $690,000-$767,000 annually. If applicable, a quality and/or productivity bonus may be offered. Relocation package may be offered to eligible candidates. Paid malpractice and generous continuing medical education (CME) allowance are also provided. Pay & Schedule
The pay range for this full-time position is $690,000-$767,000 annually. If applicable, a quality and/or productivity bonus may be offered.
