Electrophysiology - Full-Time NP/PA

About the role

The Nurse Practitioner (NP) position in the Electrophysiology department at Advocate Health focuses on providing advanced practice nursing care to patients with heart conditions. This role requires a strong background in cardiovascular health and a commitment to patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and treat patients with arrhythmias and other cardiac conditions
• Collaborate with cardiologists and other healthcare providers to develop and implement treatment plans
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as EKGs and echocardiograms
• Provide direct patient care, including medication management and patient education
• Participate in clinical research studies related to electrophysiology

Requirements

• Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner in the state of Illinois
• Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) or higher
• Experience in electrophysiology or related field preferred
• Knowledge of advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) and basic life support (BLS)

Pay

$47.50 - $71.25 per hour, based on experience and qualifications
