Electrophysiology/EP RN

Role Overview Provides direct, proficient patient care in a fast-paced, technically complex environment within the Electrophys Lab. Responsibilities include preparing patients and environment before procedures, responding effectively to life-threatening situations, and evaluating patient and family education needs. Must demonstrate critical thinking, decisive judgment, and minimal supervision to ensure safety, optimize outcomes, and utilize resources effectively. Qualifications & Skills Valid RN licensure and relevant certifications such as Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) Minimum of 6 months RN experience or completion of a fellowship program Recent ED, ICU, Cardiac step-down, CICU, or EP experience preferred Ability to handle stressful situations with efficiency and composure Strong assessment, critical thinking, and patient education skills Key Duties Prepare patients and environment for procedures Respond to emergencies per nursing protocols Provide patient and family education tailored to individual needs Monitor patient safety and outcomes Work collaboratively within the healthcare team
