About the role
The incoming physician will join a high-volume EP program with access to advanced cardiovascular services and strong referral patterns across the region. EP only call responsibilities (1:15) provide balanced coverage and physician support.
Responsibilities
- Complex and typical ablations
- Pacemaker and ICD implantation
- Cardiac Resynchronization Therapy (CRT)
- EP studies and remote monitoring
- Watchman and structural EP-related procedures
- Arrhythmia management across inpatient and outpatient settings
Requirements
- Board Certified / Eligible in Cardiovascular Medicine and Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology
- Completion of accredited Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Medicine, and Electrophysiology training programs
- MD or DO
Qualifications
- Eligible for Illinois medical licensure
- Experience as an Electrophysiologist or 2026–2027 fellow
