Position Overview

Cardiovascular Institute of Central Florida (CVICFL) is seeking a full-time Electrophysiologist to join their growing physician-led cardiovascular practice serving Ocala and the surrounding Central Florida region. This role includes a mix of clinic and hospital responsibilities with future opportunity to perform bread-and-butter EP procedures in an Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) setting.

Key Responsibilities/Services

  • Diagnosis and treatment of cardiac arrhythmias, both standard and complex

  • Performance of routine and complex catheter ablations

  • Implantation and management of cardiac devices

  • Electrophysiology studies, intracardiac mapping, remote monitoring, and comprehensive inpatient/outpatient EP care

  • Opportunities for watchman implantation and other electrophysiology-related structural heart procedures

  • EP procedures are performed at HCA West Marion Hospital and HCA Ocala Hospital utilizing advanced mapping and ablation technologies

Qualifications

  • Electrophysiology Fellowship Program

  • Completion of accredited Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Medicine, and Electrophysiology training programs

  • MD or DO

  • Eligible for Florida medical licensure

  • Open to experienced Electrophysiologists and current fellows

  • Strong commitment to clinical excellence, teamwork, and patient satisfaction

  • Eligible for physician waiver support
