Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair electronic components and industrial control systems on manufacturing equipment.
- Perform preventive maintenance, calibration, and testing of production machinery.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
- Test and validate electronic components to meet manufacturing specifications.
- Collaborate with engineers and production teams to resolve complex equipment issues.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and participate in root cause analysis for recurring issues.
- Provide technical training or guidance to production staff when necessary.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, ISO, and company safety standards.
Qualifications
- Required: Associate degree or technical certification in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- Strong understanding of electronic theory, industrial control systems, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Proficiency with diagnostic tools such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and soldering equipment.
- Ability to read schematics and technical documentation.
- PREFERRED: In a high-volume manufacturing environment.
- PREFERRED: Knowledge of robotics, automated assembly systems, and industrial networking.
Physical Requirements
- Frequently sitting, walking, standing, and bending.
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise and moving machinery.
- Manual dexterity for handling small electronic components and tools.
