Electronics Technician
About the role
Serve as an electronic technician, conducting the assembly and fabrication of electrical, electronic, or mechanical components or equipment. Perform tasks, including the operation of mechanical machinery, calibration equipment, power tools, and electronic tooling. Apply industry and organizational knowledge to programs and projects. Leverage standard policies, procedures, and practical application of the general and technical aspects of the job to complete assignments. Work under general supervision. Perform routine work requiring no instruction, with general instructions given for new assignments.
Responsibilities
- Conduct assembly and fabrication of electrical, electronic, or mechanical components or equipment.
- Operate mechanical machinery, calibration equipment, power tools, and electronic tooling.
- Analyze engineering drawings to determine electronic fabrication requirements and layout of electronic assemblies.
- Leverage industry and organizational knowledge to support programs and projects.
- Work under general supervision, performing routine work requiring no instruction, with general instructions given for new assignments.
Requirements
- 1+ years of experience as an electrical technician.
- Knowledge of electronic assembly fabrication, including wiring harnesses, electronic circuit boards, and integration of electronic components.
- Ability to analyze engineering drawings to determine the electronic fabrication requirements and layout of electronic assemblies.
- Ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
- High school diploma or GED.
Qualifications
- Nice if you have: Knowledge of the design of electronic systems and components.
- Ability to work independently and coordinate with engineering and quality control.
- J-STD or IPC 610/620 Certification.
Skills

Pay
The projected compensation range for this position is $52,900.00 to $108,000.00 (annualized USD).
