Electronics Technician
About the role
We are seeking a hands-on Electronics Technician to support engineering and testing activities. This role involves electronic component repair, troubleshooting, test equipment operation, harness fabrication, mechanical assembly, and documentation of test assets and controllers.
Responsibilities
- Solder and replace small electronic components, including surface-mount devices (0805, 0402, and similar packages).
- Perform hot air rework and reflow repairs, including IC replacement.
- Assist engineers in diagnosing and root-causing failed electrical components and assemblies.
- Operate bench lab equipment such as power supplies, oscilloscopes, load boxes, and flash/programming tools.
- Design, build, and repair wire harnesses as required.
- Build and maintain test boxes, breakout boards, and other test fixtures.
- Assemble and disassemble electronic controllers using common hand tools.
- Manage multiple controllers and projects simultaneously while maintaining accurate status documentation.
- Follow established quality, safety, and testing procedures.

Qualifications
- Can follow Schematic Markup
- Printed circuit board (PCB) check out and visual inspections
- Experience with hot air reflow (e.g. IC replacement)
Pay
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $38.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
