About the Role
At Solutech, we ensure critical medical devices are always available to support the treatment and diagnosis of patients. As an Electronics Repair Technician, you will play a critical role in repairing medical device electronics by diagnosing, replacing, and reworking electronics on PCBAs to the component level. This position involves simplistic testing to validate work and restore device functionality, supported by sophisticated diagnostic tools and a team of experienced peers.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose PCBA electronic faults to the component level
- Assemble and rework electronic assemblies and components
- Perform precision microscope work
- Examine component parts for defects
- Participate in an industry-leading Quality Management System
- Use a web interface system to track tasks and accomplishments
Qualifications
Required
- Proficient with Digital Multimeters
- High degree of hand-eye coordination and finger dexterity
- Excellent attention to detail
- Technical ability to read and follow work instructions
- Ability to work independently and in a team atmosphere
- Ability and willingness to learn and improve
Preferred
- Familiarity with Oscilloscopes, Function Generators, LCR Meters, and similar equipment
Environmental and Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift 75 pounds
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to travel, both domestically and internationally, for extended periods of time
- Dexterous ability to manipulate small objects
- Willing to work standard and non-standard hours as required to support customers
