Electronics Commodity Buyer

TASKS

• Support in ensuring and coordinating adequate information flow between suppliers and the program buyers
• Support in driving commodity purchasing processes for specific Hella products, preparation of sourcing activities
• Align tasks and decisions with Business Partner and/or supervisor if necessary
• Manage intercultural and trustful relationships by creating and adding value from international project team setups through utilizing the cultural diversity in the project.
• Support in ensuring alignment capacity for pre-series and launch business at supplier, managing stock increases, packaging and logistics related topics in case of bottlenecks or insolvencies.
• Support in challenging the technical solutions for purchased parts in terms of cost efficiency and challenge the project team to ensure and overachieve targeted costs.
• Supporting the identification and achievement of cost potentials resulting from Design-to-Cost (DtC).

QUALIFICATIONS

• Proven working experience as a buyer within the automotive industry.
• 2+ years of procurement experience
• Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, engineering or related field
• Prior experience with SAP is preferred
• Exposure to electronics related products is preferred but not required
