About The Role

Basic Purpose: This position involves all aspects of the assembly processes including putting up inventory stock, parts pulling, assembling, testing and service, packing, shipping/receiving and general clean up. The main focus of the position at this time is assembly of cables and electronic products such as Variable Frequency Drives.

Shift: 1st Shift (8:00am - 5:00pm)

Pay

Pay: $21/hr

  • Proficiency in reading schematics, using hand tools, soldering, crimping, and performing quality inspections
  • Meticulousness in following instructions, ensuring accuracy in assembly, and maintaining high quality standards
  • Possessing good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity to work with small components and perform intricate tasks
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment with continuous interruptions
  • Organizing workload for timely accomplishment of work

Top Actual Tasks

  • Constructing and assembling cable systems for various electronic and mechanical equipment
  • Reading and interpreting schematics, blueprints, and work instructions to ensure accurate assembly
  • Must visually inspect all work and rework as necessary
  • Using hand tools, soldering irons, crimping tools, and other specialized equipment to assemble cables
  • Hand assembly of VFD (Variable Frequency Drives), maintain parts stock between assembly lines, putting up inventory stock, parts pulling, testing and service, packing, shipping/receiving and general clean up

A 10% shift premium is paid for 2nd and 3rd shift positions.
