Roles & Responsibilities
- Follow standard operating procedures to build new devices.
- Work with management to resolve problems and develop techniques for improvement.
- Comply with all relevant company, safety, and regulatory procedures.
- Comply with ISO and FDA standards, requirements, and documentation.
- Interact with customers on technical support calls for device issues.
- Travel to perform in-person device repairs, troubleshooting, and installations.
Qualifications
- 2 years in electronics assembly, repair, or comparable education or experience.
- Comfortable building and taking apart complex consumer equipment.
- Familiar with using a DMM, oscilloscope, gauges, meters, and other measurement equipment.
- Able to troubleshoot to PCB, circuit, or component level.
- Able to work from written work instructions, drawings, manufacturing specs, and verbal instructions.
- Competency in soldering to IPC standards.
- Able to work independently and with a team.
- Solid verbal communications skills.
- Documentation skills.
- Able to lift/carry up to fifty (50) pounds.
- Laser/Electro-optics experience is a big plus.
