Roles & Responsibilities

  • Follow standard operating procedures to build new devices.
  • Work with management to resolve problems and develop techniques for improvement.
  • Comply with all relevant company, safety, and regulatory procedures.
  • Comply with ISO and FDA standards, requirements, and documentation.
  • Interact with customers on technical support calls for device issues.
  • Travel to perform in-person device repairs, troubleshooting, and installations.

Qualifications

  • 2 years in electronics assembly, repair, or comparable education or experience.
  • Comfortable building and taking apart complex consumer equipment.
  • Familiar with using a DMM, oscilloscope, gauges, meters, and other measurement equipment.
  • Able to troubleshoot to PCB, circuit, or component level.
  • Able to work from written work instructions, drawings, manufacturing specs, and verbal instructions.
  • Competency in soldering to IPC standards.
  • Able to work independently and with a team.
  • Solid verbal communications skills.
  • Documentation skills.
  • Able to lift/carry up to fifty (50) pounds.
  • Laser/Electro-optics experience is a big plus.
