Electronic Test Technician

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical, mechanical, and environmental testing on TE products for Engineering Evaluation and Qualifications.
• Prepare samples using hand tools and soldering techniques.
• Build test setups and equipment following mechanical drawings, wiring diagrams, and circuit diagrams.
• Utilize various mechanical measuring devices for product assembly and verification.
• Operate electronic testing equipment, including power supplies and specialized test instruments.
• Review and summarize test data.
• Write comprehensive test documentation and reports.
• Collaborate with internal product, development, and quality engineers.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Adhere to safety protocols and procedures.

What Your Background Should Look Like

• A High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• An Associate Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related field preferred.
• 1-3 years of experience in product testing or related field preferred.
• Proficiency in soldering techniques.
• A strong understanding of electrical and mechanical principles.
• Excellent manual dexterity and ability to work with hands for extended periods.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite; experience with MS Project is a plus.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• A detail-oriented approach with critical thinking abilities.
• The ability to work well in a team environment with diverse backgrounds.
• A flexible and adaptable attitude to shifting priorities.

Compensation

Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $46,000 – 69,000 (subject to change dependent on physical location).
