Electronic Technician I

Responsibilities

• Apply comprehensive technical knowledge to solve complex problems/tasks by interpreting manufacturers' manuals, schematics, or similar documents.
• Perform tasks such as replacing components and wiring circuits, repairing complex electronic equipment, and taking test readings using common instruments (e.g., digital multimeters, signal generators, semiconductor testers, curve tracers, oscilloscopes).
• Demonstrate knowledge of computer systems/operations and competently function in a computer-rich environment.
• Plan work sequences and select tools/test equipment with familiarity of circuit interrelationships and judgment.
• Perform comprehensive preventive and corrective maintenance activities on simulation equipment.
• Work any shift and weekends as specified by the contract for this site.
• Other duties as assigned.
