Electronic Technician

About the role

Oversee manufacturing operations to ensure production runs safely, efficiently, and meets quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily production operations, production lines, and employees.
• Lead, train, and schedule hourly production staff.
• Monitor production performance, quality, and production targets.
• Ensure safety procedures and company policies are followed.
• Investigate workplace accidents and report injuries.
• Coordinate with Maintenance on equipment issues and repairs.
• Monitor equipment operation and ensure GMP standards are followed.
• Maintain production and compliance records and provide reports to management.
• Work with Transportation to support on-time product delivery.
• Identify opportunities to improve production processes and efficiency.
• Ensure smooth communication and handoff between shifts.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ year of experience in blown film extrusion or a similar manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of extrusion processes, materials, and equipment.
• Experience with blown film extrusion machinery such as blowers, dies, and chillers.
• Ability to troubleshoot basic equipment issues.
• Knowledge of quality control, SPC, and production data.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
• Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Working Environment

• Manufacturing/plant environment with exposure to heat, noise, dust, and chemicals.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must be comfortable working around machinery and in temperatures up to 110°F.
• Must follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE.

Schedule

• D Shift: Thursday-Saturday 6:00 PM-6:00 AM, Wednesday 12:00 AM-6:00 AM
• A Shift: Sunday-Tuesday 6:00 AM-6:00 PM, Wednesday 6:00 AM-12:00 PM
