Electronic Security Integration Technician - i2G

About the role

This position focuses on the site management and installation of security solutions for both new and existing clients. The role involves working closely with internal teams, external teams, clients, and subcontractors to ensure project success. Successful candidates will work with minimal supervision, provide daily updates, and seek support from their project manager as needed. The goal is to train replacements and advance into Project Management roles.

Responsibilities

• Follow and track project scheduling.
• Direct subcontractor and internal resource communications.
• Manage and coordinate multiple technicians and subcontractors.
• Read and understand written specifications, drawings, and controlling documents.
• Maintain current and accurate documentation of systems.
• Perform installation and training as required on implemented control systems.
• Troubleshoot and maintain new and existing control systems for customers.
• Cookordinate project activities with appropriate parties internally and externally.
• Document and communicate necessary project changes and implement them.
• Complete the final Test and Acceptance of security systems.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Working knowledge of general access control systems.
• Lenum and Genetec knowledge is preferred.
• A thorough understanding of electronic security systems, their individual parts, and the onsite labor necessary to complete an installation.
• Skills/experience using Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.
