About the role

Electronic Mechanical Specialist is responsible for the set-up, configuration, testing, and troubleshooting of custom lab test environments for the proprietary CTDI testing equipment at our operations facilities.

Responsibilities

• Configure, test, and troubleshoot electronic equipment and PCs.
• Set-up, configure, test, and troubleshoot custom lab test environments.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software connectivity issues.
• Qualify and run tests on various communications equipment.
• Travel as required to assist other branches to set up equipment (20%).

Requirements

• IPC 610 certification or A+ Certification is preferred.
• Ability to understand DOS and Linux shell scripts.
• 2 years of experience in electronics or computer engineering field.
• Ability to read and interpret wiring schematics and diagrams.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to operate a PC running Microsoft and Linux OSs, as well as execute CLI commands.
• Basic understanding of Virtual Machines.
• Good manual dexterity.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Electronics or equivalent field.
• United States work authorization (Required).
• Must be 18 years of age.
