Our solutions support critical network infrastructure applications like artificial intelligence, high-performance computing, satellite communications, radar, unmanned aerial vehicles, medical equipment, test and measurement, and advanced wireless networks.

We are looking for a seasoned, well-rounded electrical engineer with experience designing mixed-signal circuits, including power supplies, analog and digital control logic, and state machines, to be used with RF systems ranging from VHF to mmWave and from Watts to Kilowatts of power.

Responsibilities

  • Power supply design implementation and verification
  • Analog control circuit design
  • State machine design with analog and digital controls
  • I2C, SPI, CAN interface design
  • Design circuitry around instrumentation op-amps and latch logic circuits
  • Design circuitry using power controllers and RF device sequencers
  • Design circuitry using temperature sensors and envelope detectors
  • Design power supply and control filtering circuits
  • Use simulation tools such as ADS, LTspice, or Microwave Office
  • Analyze and resolve highly complex technical problems quickly and independently
  • Work with a cross-functional team including layout engineers, mechanical engineers, process engineers, and electrical engineers
  • Test and verify circuit designs in a lab environment
  • Communicate clearly both verbally and in writing

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of analog control theory and circuits (op amps, comparators, analog logic)
  • Experience with digital control systems and interfaces (I2C, CAN)
  • Experience with microprocessors, single-board computers, CPLDs, or FPGAs (highly desirable)
  • Previous experience with multilayer board design involving mixed-signal analog/digital (highly desirable)
  • Understanding of microprocessor-controlled systems
  • BS degree in electrical engineering or equivalent and 10+ years of applicable experience
