Electronic Debug Technician

About the role
We are seeking an Electronic Debug Technician to join our team in Huntsville. This individual will troubleshoot electronic assemblies and collaborate with other departments to deliver quality products to our customers.
Responsibilities
- Conduct component-level debugging using digital multimeters, oscilloscopes, and other test assets.
- Utilize in-system device programming tools such as Altera, Lattice, or Xilinx.
- Work with engineering documents including schematics, source code, and CAD files.
- Handle moderately difficult assignments, requiring judgment in resolving issues or making recommendations.
- Manage daily Aged Work-In-Process (WIP) tasks.
- Follow and enforce all Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) guidelines.
- Provide defect and root cause feedback to Manufacturing Engineering to drive corrective action.
- Debug copper or optical fiber networking products and computer circuit card assemblies.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED; 2 or 4-year degree in electronics preferred.
- Understanding of electronic component functionality.
- 3+ years’ experience debugging electronic circuit card assemblies.
- RF experience desired.
- Ability to interpret schematics, component datasheets, and product manuals.
- Demonstrated ability and willingness to use AI tools to improve productivity, decision-making, work quality, and reduce costs. The successful candidate must identify appropriate AI use cases and critically evaluate AI-generated outputs.
Skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Understanding of high-speed bus structures and power supply operational theory.
- Familiarity with computer circuitry and peripherals.

Pay
Hourly position with a salary range of $65,000 – $80,000 USD, based on experience, skills, qualifications, market considerations, and geographic location.
