About the role

TT Electronics is hiring for multiple opportunities across manufacturing and quality. This role offers a 4-day workweek with 3-day weekends, career development, meaningful work, and growth opportunities. The Electronics Assembly Operator III performs intermediate-level assembly work on low-volume, high-mix assembly lines to mass produce transformers and inductors. This position requires reliability, independence, and adherence to core values while maintaining a clean and safe work area.

Responsibilities

  • Performs responsibilities of Electronics Assembler Operator I and II.
  • Provides expertise with advanced assembly work involving heavy/fine wires, fine lams, and complex assemblies inside shells/housing.
  • Performs setup with machines such as stamping, banding, molding, and tape and reel.
  • Holds IPC 610 and/or IPC 620 certification and performs higher-level inspections using 10x or higher magnification.
  • Operates and maintains complex winding machines.
  • Performs precision soldering utilizing a soldering iron.
  • Performs complex gluing processes and transformer coil wire assembly.
  • Displays the highest level of quality standards.
  • Other duties as required and/or assigned.

Requirements

  • Leads by example in relation to core values.
  • Basic understanding of problem-solving and ability to identify and solve quality problems.
  • Advanced understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles.
  • Advanced understanding of visual workplace management principles.
  • Able to read and understand production drawings and work instructions.
  • Able to work with chemicals.
  • Good manual dexterity and ability to work with wire sizes 10 to 46 American Wire Gauge (AWG).
  • Meets vision requirements specified by the quality management system.
  • Position involves sitting, standing, walking, and lifting up to 25 pounds occasionally.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Qualifications

  • GED or High School Diploma preferred but not required.
  • Two or more years of employment with TT Electronics is desirable.
  • J-STD-001D Soldering Certified is a plus.
  • One year of soldering experience preferred.
  • Prior experience with assembly in manufacturing is preferred.
  • Inspection and trainer experience is preferred.
