Electronic Assembler

Responsibilities

• Prepare components by cleaning, wire bonding, sealing, and marking.
• Load components (such as resistors, transistors, capacitors, integrated circuits, and sockets) on printed circuit boards.
• Perform interconnecting and harnessing wiring operations, as well as thru-hole and surface mount soldering of components.
• Install finished assemblies or subassemblies in cases and cabinets.
• Assemble and attach hardware such as caps, clamps, and switches.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent is needed.
• At least 2 years of electronic assembly experience.

Additional Requirements

• Ability to obtain a Secret security clearance is required.
• Must be willing to travel and have an active passport.
