About the role
Maintenance Technician responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining electrical and mechanical systems in a manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair electrical components such as motors, drives, PLCs, sensors, and control panels
- Troubleshoot mechanical systems including gearboxes, conveyors, pumps, and compressors
- Perform preventive maintenance and respond to equipment breakdowns to minimize downtime
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions
- Support installation, alignment, and repair of motors, bearings, and mechanical drive components
- Maintain hydraulic, pneumatic, and safety systems, adhering to OSHA standards
- Read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings
- Support PLC programming adjustments and VFD troubleshooting
- Perform welding, fabrication, and minor machining tasks
- Maintain accurate records using SAP or CMMS systems
- Collaborate with teams to support operational goals and safety procedures
Requirements
- Eligibility to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
- 18+ years old
- High school diploma or GED
- Relevant experience in electrical or mechanical maintenance
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and safety skills
- Ability to work in diverse conditions and perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 lbs., bending, climbing, and working at heights
- Willingness to work overtime, weekends, or holidays as needed
Skills
- Experience with industrial maintenance, troubleshooting, and CMMS tools like SAP
- Knowledge of predictive maintenance, welding, and hydraulic/pneumatic systems
- Proficiency with PLCs, VFDs, and technical drawings
