This role involves supporting maintenance and automation within a food production environment, focusing on equipment modification, troubleshooting, and periodic inspections of machinery, packaging, and plant utilities.
Responsibilities
- Modifying programming with general guidance
- Participating in the design and installation of equipment upgrades
- Troubleshooting machinery and automation failures
- Providing feedback to improve asset reliability
- Performing inspections and maintenance on mechanical and electrical systems
- Completing other assigned duties
Requirements
- Legal eligibility to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
- Minimum 18 years old and fluent in English
- At least 1 year of experience in electrical and industrial maintenance
- Basic knowledge of hand tools and safe tool usage
- Experience with computer systems (PLC, Windows, Linux)
Preferred Skills
- Trade school, apprenticeship, or vocational training
- IT experience
Schedule
Full-time hours on the first shift, based in North Kingstown, RI.
