About the role
The Electromechanical Equipment Reliability Specialist is responsible for ensuring the reliability and efficiency of electromechanical equipment used in various manufacturing processes at Briggs & Stratton's Auburn facility.
Responsibilities
- Conduct root cause analysis on equipment failures to identify and implement corrective actions
- Develop and maintain preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve equipment performance and reduce maintenance costs
- Train and mentor other technicians in reliability best practices
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in reliability engineering or similar field
- Proficiency in using statistical process control tools and software
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Qualifications
- Knowledge of electromechanical systems and troubleshooting techniques
- Experience with predictive maintenance and condition monitoring tools
- Understanding of ISO 9001 and Six Sigma principles
Skills
- MS Office Suite proficiency
- Basic understanding of electrical and mechanical principles
- Good communication and interpersonal skills

Schedule
Full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
