Electromechanical Equipment Reliability Specialist

About the role

The Electromechanical Equipment Reliability Specialist is responsible for ensuring the reliability and efficiency of electromechanical equipment used in various manufacturing processes at Briggs & Stratton's Auburn facility.

Responsibilities

• Conduct root cause analysis on equipment failures to identify and implement corrective actions
• Develop and maintain preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve equipment performance and reduce maintenance costs
• Train and mentor other technicians in reliability best practices

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum 3 years of experience in reliability engineering or similar field
• Proficiency in using statistical process control tools and software
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

• Knowledge of electromechanical systems and troubleshooting techniques
• Experience with predictive maintenance and condition monitoring tools
• Understanding of ISO 9001 and Six Sigma principles

Skills

• MS Office Suite proficiency
• Basic understanding of electrical and mechanical principles
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
