About the role
We design and build advanced automation equipment, custom machinery, and handling systems used in high-tech manufacturing environments around the world. As an Assembler II, you will build complex mechanical and electrical systems, work with engineers, troubleshoot issues, and play a key role in bringing custom equipment to life. This is not repetitive assembly line work.
Responsibilities
- Build and assemble complex mechanical and electrical equipment
- Read and interpret blueprints, assembly drawings, wiring schematics, and production orders
- Perform electrical wiring, soldering, pneumatic, and hydraulic assembly work
- Assemble subassemblies and complete final integration of equipment
- Inspect finished assemblies to ensure quality and accuracy
- Troubleshoot assembly or operational issues and collaborate with Engineering when needed
- Help improve processes by recommending solutions and improvements
- Work independently while maintaining strong communication with the team
Requirements
- 2–4 years of mechanical and/or electrical assembly experience
- Strong blueprint and schematic reading skills
- Experience using hand tools, measuring tools, and assembly equipment
- Ability to troubleshoot and solve mechanical or electrical issues
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Technical school or vocational training is a plus
