Our Ville Mont-Royal facility is a corrugated-box manufacturing plant employing over 150 people.
Responsibilities
- Install, modify, repair, and maintain printing and converting machinery, automated conveyors, and various equipment (processes, exhaust fans, wastewater treatment, electrical panels, buildings, etc.)
- Perform interventions based on requests and priorities, making necessary modifications
- Participate in developing or updating preventive and predictive maintenance methods and procedures
- Locate, install, modify, replace, repair, and maintain piping, ductwork, and heating systems
- Clean and lubricate pumps, compressors, and other equipment
- Use measuring devices and take appropriate readings (temperature calibrators, multimeters)
- Read and interpret electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic schematics
- Requisition parts according to available catalogs
- Support production employees in their daily operational tasks
Requirements
- DEP in Electromechanics of Automated Systems
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant industry experience
- Versatility and strong troubleshooting skills for mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, motor, and control panel components
- Team-oriented with excellent oral and written communication skills
- Resourcefulness and ability to work autonomously
Preferred Qualifications
- Certificate of Competence in Electricity (C license)
- Knowledge of PLCs (Allen Bradley)
- Experience with maintenance software
- Welding and machining skills
- Familiarity with printing, carton-cutting, and conveyor machinery
Pay
Hourly rate: $35.88 during probation, increasing to $38.39 after successful completion.
Schedule
- Permanent, full-time position
- Evening shift: 8-hour shifts
