About the role

Conduct electroencephalograms (EEG) on patients in a healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

  • Perform EEG procedures, review patient clinical histories, and select appropriate electrodes.
  • Employ sterile techniques across hospital areas.
  • Provide emergency care such as CPR or First Aid when needed.
  • Support mission-critical operations during severe weather or emergencies, including on-call duties during irregular hours.
  • Maintain compliance with immunization, BLS certification, and mandatory seasonal influenza vaccination requirements.
  • Adhere to safety protocols, including lifting up to 45 lbs.
  • Participate in pre-employment physicals and drug testing.

Requirements

  • One year of specialized experience conducting EEG examinations and operating EEG equipment, or graduate-level education related to EEG technology, or a combination of both.
  • Preferred certification as a Registered EEG (not mandatory).
  • Ability to work in mission-essential, on-call, and potentially irregular hours.
  • Adherence to safety and immunization policies.
  • Strong attention to detail and sterile technique proficiency.
  • Emergency response skills.
