Electro-Mechanical Technician

About the role

Our client, a leading organization in the logistics and material handling industry, is seeking a Mech & Robotics Tech to join the Operations Maintenance team supporting a datacenter. The ideal candidate will demonstrate problem‑solving skills, adaptability, and a proactive attitude.

Location: Sun Prairie, WI

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain material handling equipment and pneumatic systems throughout the building.
• Install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment.
• Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures.
• Complete preventative maintenance routines with proper documentation.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems related to all Material Handling Equipment (MHE), including belts, motors, photo‑eyes, relays, and more.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work flexible schedules/shifts/areas, including weekends, nights, and holidays.
• At least 1 year of experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Physical ability to move up to 49 lb and stand or walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours.
• Willingness to travel up to 20 % as needed.

Pay

$28 per hour

Schedule

Flexible schedules/shifts/areas, including weekends, nights, and holidays. Shifts may last up to 12 hours, with up to 20 % travel as needed.
