Alliance Laundry Systems is seeking an Electro Mechanical Technician 2 for a Weekend Days position in Ripon, WI. This is a direct hire, on-site role offering a stable and successful manufacturing environment with a strong team culture. The position is fast-paced but provides clear rules, direction, and support.

Work schedule and compensation

  • Weekend Nights: Friday–Sunday, 4:00 PM – 4:00 AM
  • Hourly Rate: $35.90 – $40.03, commensurate with experience and qualifications
  • Shift Differential: $3.25/hr
  • Sign-On Bonus: $5,000 upon successful hiring

Responsibilities

  • Design minor electrical circuits and test/troubleshoot electrical, PLC, and electronic circuits used for control of machines and equipment
  • Troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic circuits
  • Install electrical and electronic controls on machines and equipment by reading and interpreting schematics or blueprints
  • Apply knowledge of electrical power and water distribution systems
  • Perform basic mechanical repairs
  • Perform work of lower-class identifications and may direct the work of others in lower classifications
  • Dismantle electrical machinery and replace defective electrical or mechanical parts such as brushes and armatures
  • Install and monitor performance of installed electrical equipment for hazards, adjustments, or replacement
  • Interpret blueprints, work from sketches or verbal instructions
  • Do layouts, assemblies, installations, tests, repairs, and adjustments of electrical fixtures, apparatus, equipment, wiring, and new services including panels, breakers, and conduit
  • Mount motors, transformers, and lighting fixtures into position and complete circuits according to diagram specifications
  • Repair, install, replace, and test electrical circuits and equipment using appropriate tools and testing instruments
  • Perform a variety of work as directed by the Group Leader

Qualifications

  • Two-year Associate degree and 2–4 years of work experience required
  • Ability to utilize a computer to search for parts and enter work into a CMMS
  • Experience in designing minor electrical circuits and testing/troubleshooting electrical, PLC, and electronic circuits used for machine and equipment control
  • Experience in troubleshooting hydraulic and pneumatic circuits
  • Experience installing electrical and electronic controls on machines and equipment by reading and interpreting schematics or blueprints
  • Knowledge of electrical power and water distribution systems
  • Ability to perform basic mechanical repairs
  • Ability to interpret blueprints, work from sketches or verbal instructions
  • Physical requirements: standing for long periods, sitting, manual dexterity, stooping, bending
  • Must pass a pre-employment physical including a baseline test of lifting a minimum of 50 pounds
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
