Just 65 miles from Center City Philadelphia, Allentown is near many major Northeastern U.S. cities, making it an ideal location for manufacturing and distributing consumer goods. We utilize thermal processing and high-speed canning to produce varieties of our Friskies®, Beneful®, and Pro Plan® brands—product lines we have carefully produced, packaged, and shipped since 1958. About the role

As an Electro-Mechanical Specialist II, you will maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and modify production equipment with a focus on electrical and automation systems. You will partner with production and maintenance personnel to quickly diagnose issues, implement corrective actions, and minimize downtime. You will also assist with infrastructure, building, and grounds maintenance projects as required.

Responsibilities

• Operate, troubleshoot, and maintain industrial electrical control, electromechanical, and fluid power systems.
• Utilize mechanical and electrical tools, diagnostic equipment, and safe maintenance practices to support equipment reliability.
• Analyze electrical control systems and apply industry standards to size components and wire control circuits.
• Perform basic rigging, mechanical maintenance, pipefitting, and welding tasks in an industrial environment.
• Apply mathematical concepts, technical data, and system documentation to diagnose and resolve equipment issues.
• Communicate technical information effectively and collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain equipment and solve complex problems.

Requirements

• High School or GED Equivalent
• 2+ years of industrial electrical AND mechanical maintenance experience in a manufacturing, automotive, warehouse, military, or related environment

Schedule

The current shift option for this role is 6PM-6AM.

Pay

The approximate hourly pay for this position is $40.39. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, abilities, and geographic location.
