Key Responsibilities
- Assembles and/or wires complex equipment following blueprints, models, and model prints.
- Skilled adjusting, fitting, and aligning are required within close tolerances.
- Follows work cell procedures or mechanical drawings and product structures.
- Sets up, operates, and maintains basic production machines such as component engravers, presses, crimpers, riveting or encapsulation machines.
- Is flexible and able to perform many operations on product in and outside of home department.
- Uses hand and power tools as required.
- Builds harness assemblies.
- Lights usage of computers to monitor and report job status and component availability.
- May perform thru-hole PCB assembly.
- Performs related duties as assigned by Supervisor.
- Works overtime as required.
- Strives to meet prescribed quality standards in an ISO environment.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1-3 years electro-mechanical assembly experience.
- Mechanical assembly with electronic/electrical safety knowledge is acceptable.
- Able to read blueprints and schematics; read and identify proper components and color schemes.
- Must present excellent workmanship standards.
- Must have good verbal communication skills.
