Key Responsibilities

  • Assembles and/or wires complex equipment following blueprints, models, and model prints.
  • Skilled adjusting, fitting, and aligning are required within close tolerances.
  • Follows work cell procedures or mechanical drawings and product structures.
  • Sets up, operates, and maintains basic production machines such as component engravers, presses, crimpers, riveting or encapsulation machines.
  • Is flexible and able to perform many operations on product in and outside of home department.
  • Uses hand and power tools as required.
  • Builds harness assemblies.
  • Lights usage of computers to monitor and report job status and component availability.
  • May perform thru-hole PCB assembly.
  • Performs related duties as assigned by Supervisor.
  • Works overtime as required.
  • Strives to meet prescribed quality standards in an ISO environment.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1-3 years electro-mechanical assembly experience.
  • Mechanical assembly with electronic/electrical safety knowledge is acceptable.
  • Able to read blueprints and schematics; read and identify proper components and color schemes.
  • Must present excellent workmanship standards.
  • Must have good verbal communication skills.
