Electrician Technician

Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal electrical codes and safety standards
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections of electrical systems
• Collaborate with other technicians and project managers to complete projects on time
• Operate electrical testing devices to identify malfunctions and implement repairs
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an electrician or electrician technician in a construction or infrastructure environment
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and safety protocols
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals
• Valid electrician certification or license preferred
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to work in various weather conditions and travel to job sites as needed
• Physical capability to handle electrical equipment and work in confined spaces
