Electrician - SWVA

Responsibilities

• Install, adjust, modify and repair all mill electrical, electronic, automation and drive equipment as required by Supervisors/Managers
• Demonstrate successful electrical troubleshooting experience, including instrumentation and AC/DC motor controls
• Read and interpret wiring diagrams and analyze electrical problems
• Show thorough knowledge of PLC programming and troubleshooting and knowledge of AC & DC drive installation, programming and troubleshooting
• Show strong leadership qualities
• Show excellent communication skills
• Show excellent computer skills (Excel, Word, Outlook)

• Industrial experience is required

Pay

Starting pay is $30.47 per hour. After each probationary period of 350 hours is completed successfully, pay is increased by $1.00/hr. After the full probationary period of 1,050 hours is completed successfully the full rate is $33.47 per hour. Time and one half for hours over 40 and double time for work on a seventh consecutive day.
