About the role

Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems across commercial, industrial, and residential sites.

Key duties

  • Troubleshoot electrical components, wiring, transformers, motors, panels, and circuits.
  • Install and repair electrical systems such as switch gears, motor controls, lighting, and power supplies.
  • Test systems to ensure safety and code compliance, identifying necessary adjustments.
  • Train and supervise apprentices, sharing best practices, and mentoring team members.
  • Maintain a safe work environment following OSHA standards and safety policies.
  • Prepare toolbox talks and support project safety culture.
  • Uphold National Electrical Code standards and maintain company property.

Qualifications and skills

  • High school diploma or GED; Journeyman license or completion of a 4-year Electrical Apprenticeship.
  • Minimum of 2 years electrical experience.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to bend pipe and perform physical tasks such as climbing ladders and pulling wire.
  • Strong communication, teamwork, work ethic, reliability, adaptability, and integrity.

Physical demands

  • Standing, lifting up to 50 pounds, climbing, bending, and working in varied environments, both indoors and outdoors, with appropriate safety gear.
