Electrician - Sign Installer

About the role

Signarama Cleveland is seeking a Sign Installer / Electrical Service Technician with an electrical background who enjoys variety, outdoor work, and hands-on problem-solving. Sign experience is not required—electrical knowledge and the right attitude are what matter. We provide training in the sign side of the business.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair illuminated signs
• Install LED lighting and power supplies
• Perform electrical connections and service work
• Install channel letters, cabinets, and other illuminated signage
• Work from bucket trucks and aerial lifts
• Run conduit and electrical feeds
• Diagnose problems in the field
• Install general signage (including non-electrical signs)

Requirements

• 8+ years of electrical work experience
• Mechanically inclined
• Comfortable working at heights
• Strong troubleshooting skills
• Dependable and self-motivated
• Safety-conscious
• Willingness to learn
• Positive, “figure it out and get it done” attitude

Preferred (but not required): sign experience, welding/fabrication experience, CDL, crane experience, or experience operating aerial equipment.
