Electrician - Residential Services

About the role

We're seeking skilled Residential Electricians with 3+ years of electrical expertise to service homeowners in our Northern Virginia and Montgomery County, MD service area. This is a hands-on residential service role centered around troubleshooting and understanding the full electrical system.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, install, and maintain residential electrical systems
• Diagnose electrical issues and provide effective, code-compliant solutions
• Educate homeowners on their electrical systems and recommended upkeep
• Use tools, meters, and equipment safely and efficiently
• Document all work performed accurately and thoroughly
• Communicate clearly with Dispatch, customers, and teammates
• Maintain a clean, organized service vehicle and accurate inventory
• Participate in trainings and team meetings (up to three times weekly)
• Present a professional, clean-cut appearance while wearing Beacon uniform

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of residential electrical experience
• Strong knowledge of residential electrical systems and electrical codes
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Self-sufficient with the ability to work independently
• Comfortable using software and technology (ServiceTitan, iPad, phone, inventory systems)
• Clean driving record and ability to maintain safe driving practices
