Electrician Medium Voltage - Underground Lineman

Specific Responsibilities

• Perform Live, Dead, Live on Medium Voltage switchgear and cables
• Install ground clusters once circuit is de-energized
• Use Medium Voltage and phasing verification testing equipment
• Plan, layout and perform the Medium Voltage scope of work on projects
• Examples of Medium Voltage scope of work: Pull Cable, Terminate, Bolt up, Grounding, Work in 40 cal. Suit with class 2 or class 3 gloves, Work with team on energizing and de-energizing Medium Voltage equipment, Trained in confined space and follows all rules required to enter confined space
• Understand when to speak and when not to speak
• Be personally detached from ideas (no ego)

Requirements

• A lineman or electrical apprentice card is required
• Must have CDL Class A desired, but not required
• Work may require nights and weekends per client request
• OSHA 30 and CPR/First Aid Certifications preferred
