Electrician (Maint - Systex, 2nd shift)

About the role

DMMI Maintenance - Molding / Systex Products Corporation (SPC), Dept. 260 is seeking a Journeyperson Electrician. The position requires reporting onsite at Systex (SPC) with possible rotation to DMMI. Core hours are from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM. A resume is required for consideration.

Responsibilities

• Familiarization with safety hazards unique to the position
• Ability to go online, basic programming/editing, upload/download, troubleshooting/search/create program backups for HMI/PLC
• Ability to go online, upload/download, troubleshooting/search for Servos
• Troubleshooting/Search, motor and cable replacements, controller replacement for Robots, climb out on robots to repair using a 5-point harness
• General operation including injection molding, N2 testers, function testers, motor press, fan balance
• Understanding and adherence to DMMI lifting procedures and rigging

Requirements

• High School diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
• Machine Repair or Electrician Journeyperson certification (or 5 years equivalent experience)
• Knowledge of safety hazards unique to the position

• Ability to go online, upload/download, troubleshooting/search for Servos

Qualifications

• More than 2 years in current position unless promotable
• Last Performance Appraisal meets or better
• No Active Written Discipline
• Able to perform the essential functions of the position
