Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Installs and connects power supply wiring and conduit for lighting, general devices, newly installed machines and building equipment
- Troubleshoots and supports production controls and automation components
- Diagnoses malfunctioning apparatus such as transformers, motors, motor starters, MCC panels, MCC circuits, variable frequency drives and lighting fixtures and replaces damaged parts, broken wires, cables and connections
- Maintains faultless and timely paperwork related to essential duties and responsibilities
- Performs preventative maintenance tasks on 480 volts or less on all electrical utilities and equipment
- Plans layout of wiring and installs wiring, conduit, and electrical apparatus in buildings per the NEC
- Maintains, organizes, cleans shop area and or service van, including inventory control, tool maintenance and calibration of testing equipment
- Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Successfully completed Apprenticeship Program
- Must be 21 years old or older
- 4 years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

Physical Demands
- The ability to lift 50lbs, climb ladders and ability to walk the facility throughout the day are required.
- Have the ability to regularly kneel repetitively during shift.
- Have the ability to work and maneuver on a variety of terrains.
- Have the ability to interact with all clients in a professional and friendly manner despite periods of stress.
Work Environment
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts.
- The employee is occasionally exposed to high precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; extreme heat; risk of electrical shock and vibration.
- The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
- May be required to work in confined, restricted and hot areas.
- Work may be located inside or in outside environments.
- Must be willing to work overtime when required.
- May be required to work holidays and weekends.
