Electrician III
About the role
We’re hiring an Electrician Level 3 in Owensboro, KY! Join a team that produces everyday plastic products like coffee lids and to-go containers, where your expertise keeps high-speed manufacturing lines running at full power. As an Electrician III, you’ll troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical systems, PLCs, and industrial equipment using schematics, controls, and advanced systems to drive safety, efficiency, and reliability.
Responsibilities
- Maintain, install, and repair equipment, electrical systems and facility electrical systems.
- Utilize electrical, pneumatics, hydraulics, and temperature and pressure gauges.
- Maintain and utilize maintenance systems for work orders, breakdown reporting and track machine modifications.
- Diagnose malfunctioning apparatus such as transformers, motors, and light fixtures.
- Replace damaged or broken components.
- Troubleshoot electrical equipment.
Requirements
- Seven (7) years of experience in diagnosing and repairing electrical equipment or machinery, or comparable experience with trade school or training.
- A High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Proficiency in reading/writing wiring diagrams, and a basic understanding of NEC.
- Knowledge of electrical, pneumatics, hydraulics, and temperature and pressure gauges.
- Familiarity with a variety of tools and the ability to troubleshoot basic problems.
