What You'll Do For The City Of Kingman Water Systems Support (60%)

  • Perform advanced journey-level electrical work supporting water facilities, including installation, inspection, testing, calibration, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment.
  • Diagnose and correct electrical problems, replace faulty components, and test systems to ensure proper operation.
  • Install and maintain motors, pumps, generators, booster stations, transformers, substations, and related control equipment.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, logic charts, and manufacturer manuals to identify malfunctions and ensure compliance with applicable codes.
  • Coverage of equipment and systems, including but not limited to, ensuring compliance with technical codes.
  • Maintain daily activity logs, preventive maintenance records, wiring diagrams, and basic project cost estimates.
  • Replenish electrical supplies, maintain parts inventory, and ensure materials are available to support maintenance and repair activities.
  • Respond to emergency call-outs, report hazards and equipment issues, and perform assigned construction, mechanical, and maintenance work.
  • Clean and maintain tools and equipment, communicate professionally with coworkers, supervisors, and the public, and provide quality customer service.
