L&A Utility Solutions Inc. is expanding our operations in Houston, TX, and we are looking for skilled Electricians to join our team. We offer consistent local project schedules and opportunities to work on utility poles, small cell/telecom power connections, and commercial infrastructure.
About The Role

Responsibilities
- Power & Service Installations: Install, wire, and connect electrical services, disconnect switches, power meters, and distribution panels.
- Conduit & Cabling: Run, bend, and secure EMT, PVC, and rigid conduit; pull wire and cable for aerial and underground applications.
- System Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Diagnose, repair, and maintain electrical components, control systems, and power hookups for utility and telecom structures.
- Aerial & Field Work: Operate bucket trucks safely to perform electrical work on utility poles, light structures, and rooftops.
- Blueprint & Plan Reading: Interpret electrical single-line diagrams, schematics, site construction prints, and NEC specifications accurately.
- Safety & Compliance: Maintain a strict safety mindset, adhering to OSHA, NEC (National Electrical Code), and company safety standards at all times.
Requirements
- Experience: 2+ years of hands-on experience in commercial, industrial, or utility electrical work.
- Licensing/Certifications: Valid Apprentice, Residential, or Journeyman Electrician License preferred.
- Technical Knowledge: Solid understanding of AC/DC circuits, conduit bending, wire sizing, grounding/bonding, and the NEC.
- Aerial Work: Comfortable working at heights from bucket trucks or ladders (safety training provided).
- Driver Requirements: Valid driver's license with a clean record (CDL is a major plus).
- Safety Certifications: OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification preferred (we will assist the right candidate in obtaining this).
